This is a chance to get to flatten a bucket list item on an epic 3 days safari to the land of 1000 Hills. Visit the Kigali city, have a night at Lake Kivu visit the Kigali City-mostly the heart-wrenching but inspiring story at the Kigali Genocide memory.

Day 1-Arrive in Kigali and head to Volcanoes National Park
An Achaa Safari representative/guide will meet you when you arrive at Kigali airport or from the hotel you had an overnight. He will give you a brief about the tour and then head to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive and check in at your lodge. You will visit the Ellen DeGeneres campus of Dian Fossey, an institute that educated the next generation of researchers and also share information about gorillas.

Day 2- Gorilla tracking and to Lake Ku
After an early breakfast, you will head to the Volcanoes National Park for an incredible gorilla tracking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the lush forest until you find a family of mountain gorillas. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge, check out and head for Lake Kivu.

Day 3- Explore Lake Kivu and head to Kigali
Take a morning boat trip on Lake Kivu after your breakfast and after head back to Kigali for your exit flight.
